If you’re reading this, then you probably already know that I write science fiction. Some of you may already know that I currently live in Dublin, Ireland, in a tiny flat. Only a few of you will know that the bright green coat pictured on the left was a casualty of my move from the UK to Ireland in September 2020. R.I.P, excellent coat.

I’m a fiction writer, a poet, and a Teaching Fellow in Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin. If you’ve strayed here by accident and are looking for my academic website, then here it is.

My writing has been published by Poetry Ireland, The Liminal Review, Arlen House, 365 Tomorrows, Ellipsis Zine, The Madrigal Press, Dreich, Full House Literary, Bear Creek Gazette, Ink Drinkers Magazine, Tree And Stone Magazine, Medusa Tales Magazine, Sonder Literary Magazine, and The Martian Magazine.

In 2022 my story, The Man of The Sand, was nominated for The Pushcart prize.

In 2023 my story story, The Sound, was long listed for the British Science Fiction Association Best Short Fiction Award.

Both The Sound and The Man of The Sand are included in my debut short story collection Possible Worlds and Other Stories.
